I’ve been on tour with my new book, More Than a Rancher. Not on the road, shaking hands with readers, though that would be fun. Nowadays, most of us small-time authors tour the cyberworld instead.
So I’ve been blog touring for the past few weeks, and here is a recap of a few of my favorite stops.
I started out over at Manga Maniac Cafe, a fun blog for romance readers. The blog owner gave me a great topic – five foods you would never find in my hero, Sandro Salazar’s kitchen. I chose pasta sauce from a jar, grocery store pastries, cheese from a can, margarine and artificial flavors. It was so much fun to think about the foods Sandro would hate.
That same day I was fortunate enough to be interviewed for the USA Today Happily Ever After Blog, which was pretty exciting. Here is a link to the interview.
Another fun blog I got to write for was Illustrious Illusions. I asked if people felt like things that happen in life are meant to be, or just random occurrences. Because Jenna, the heroine of More Than a Rancher, is always trying to find the meaning behind everything that happens to her.
After several promotional stops, where bloggers posted my book information and hosted the giveaway, I got to visit Underneath the Covers blog, which reviewed my book. And they made me very happy too! Here is the link to the review if you’d like to read it.
I had fun posting on Christine’s Words about forgiveness, another big issue that comes up in the book. What does it take to forgive someone? And is it hardest to forgive ourselves?
Finally, I wrapped up my official tour over at one of my absolute favorite blogs, Harlequin Junkie. I answered their spotlight interview questions, which were very detailed and thought provoking! If you want to learn more about More Than a Rancher, this is a great link to visit.
Of course, the tour is never really done. I love visiting other blogs, which is why you’ll find me over at SuperAuthors tomorrow, and Just Contemporary Romance over the weekend. Hope to see you there!
