It’s a foggy day here on the California coast and I’m feeling a little lost and giddy because this weekend I sent my completed, edited, all done, tenth book off to my editor!
It’s a strange feeling when a book is suddenly out of my hands and I have to mentally let it go. No more tinkering, no more changes. Now it lives with the publisher and, in September, the readers! It’s called After the Rodeo and it was just lovely to write. My editor really enjoyed it and I hope you will too!
My mom used to say onward and upward and her voice rose from my memories as I sat down at the computer today and realized that this is my first week in a long time without big deadlines closing in. So… onward and upward!
After the Rodeo is the second book in my Heroes of Shelter Creek Series. The third book will come out early in 2020, and I’ll write that one next. Plus I have some time set aside in the next couple months to create a proposal for more Heroes of Shelter Creek books, as well as proposals for the two different series that have been building in the back of my mind. I’m excited to get those chapters written and send them off into the publishing world in search of a home.
I hope you all have a wonderful week and keep heading onward and upward, in pursuit of your dreams!
