There’s a place on Facebook where I love to hang out. You can find me there most days. It’s really the one social media spot where I manage to consistently show up. Why? Because my friends are there! And they are a nice group of people. Writers and readers who love chatting about books and pets and food (especially cupcakes) travel and life. And you are welcome to join us too!
The group is called Coffee, Cupcakes and Contemporaries. It started because eleven writers for the now disbanded Harlequin Superromance line put together an anthology of novellas, set in the fall, called Falling for You. When we were finished, we had a big Facebook party and tons of people showed up! We had so much fun, we didn’t want it to end. So we converted the party to a group, gave it a name, and we’ve been going strong ever since.
One of the group’s founders is responsible for posting almost every day. We also invite other contemporary romance authors to take over the group, so we often get to hear about new releases, and discover new writers. But we also just chat about things we love, especially the romance novels we’ve been reading recently. Yesterday, group members shared sweet photos of themselves with their mothers, or talked about how they were spending Mother’s Day. It was so nice to know what everyone was up to!
And of course when the founding authors have new books out, we always celebrate with parties at Coffee Cupcakes and Contemporaries. We also share new covers, and other writing news.
If you are on Facebook, and this sounds fun to you, please join our group! You’ll find us at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1426474880768003/
And thank you, as always, for your interest in my stories!
